  • 15 oz can Crushed tomatoes (San Marzano style preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • Pinch Black pepper
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Pepperoni (optional, small round slices)

    Prepare the Dough: In a small bowl, combine the warm water, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let sit for 5-10 minutes until the mixture is foamy, indicating the yeast is active.

This is crucial for the 'laced' crust. Add pepperoni or other desired toppings, if using, on top of the cheese.
