Ingredients
- •2 cup Thick Poha (flattened rice) (rinsed and drained)
- •1 medium Tamato (peeled and diced into small cubes)
- •1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
- •1/4 cup Peanuts
- •2 piece Green chilies (slit lengthwise (adjust to taste))
- •8-10 piece Curry leaves
- •1 tsp Mustard seeds
- •1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- •1 tsp Sugar
- •to taste Salt
- •2 tbsp Lemon juice
- •2 tbsp Fresh coriander leaves (chopped, for garnish)
- •2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- •1/4 cup Water (for steaming)
- •1/2 tbsp Red chilli powder
Instructions
- 1.
Wash the poha and keep it aside.
Time: 3 min - 2.
Heat oil in a pan.
- 3.
Add mustard seeds and peanuts.
- 4.
Add onion and tomato.
- 5.
Add spices and poha.
- 6.
Cook for 2–3 minutes.
- 7.
Mix coriander leaves
- 8.
Serve hot
Tips
- 💡Do not soak poha too long.
- 💡Add peas for extra taste.
- 💡Use lemon juice for freshness.
- 💡Serve hot with tea, or chutney.
