Gluten-Free Chicken Burger Salad
A deconstructed chicken burger served over a fresh salad. Customize the toppings to please even the pickiest eaters while keeping it gluten-free.
Ingredients
- •1.5 lb Ground Chicken (or shredded cooked chicken)
- •3 piece Gluten-Free Burger Buns (optional, can be served without buns)
- •6 cups Lettuce (mixed greens or your favorite lettuce)
- •1 piece Tomato (sliced)
- •0.25 piece Red Onion (thinly sliced)
- •0.5 cup Pickles (sliced)
- •0.75 cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
- •3 tbsp Ketchup (or to taste)
- •3 tsp Mustard (or to taste)
- •3 tbsp Mayonnaise (optional)
- •to taste Salt
- •to taste Pepper
- •1 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions

In a bowl, gently mix the ground chicken with salt and pepper.
Time: 2 min - 2.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Form the ground chicken into patties and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and browned.
Time: 10 min - 3.
While the chicken is cooking, prepare the salad by dividing the lettuce among three plates.
Time: 3 min - 4.
Top each salad with sliced tomato, red onion, pickles, and shredded cheddar cheese.
Time: 3 min - 5.
Once the chicken burgers are cooked, place them on top of the salads (either whole or crumbled).
Time: 2 min - 6.
Serve with gluten-free burger buns (optional), ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise on the side for each person to customize their salad.
