Ingredients
- •4 piece Naan bread
- •1 cup Hummus (plain or garlic flavor)
- •1 cup Cherry tomatoes (halved)
- •1/2 cup Kalamata olives (pitted and sliced)
- •4 oz Feta cheese (crumbled)
- •2 tbsp Fresh oregano (chopped)
- •2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
- •2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil (plus more for drizzling)
- •to taste to taste Black pepper
Instructions
- 1.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If you plan to use the broiler for crisping, ensure the oven rack is in the upper third of the oven.
Time: 5 min - 2.
Arrange the naan breads on a large baking sheet. Drizzle each naan with about 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and spread it evenly.
Time: 1 min - 3.
Spread approximately 1/4 cup of hummus evenly over each naan, leaving a small border for the crust.
Time: 2 min - 4.
Evenly distribute the halved cherry tomatoes, sliced Kalamata olives, and crumbled feta cheese over the hummus on each naan.
Time: 3 min - 5.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-12 minutes, or until the naan edges are golden brown and crispy, and the feta is slightly softened and warm.
Time: 10 min - 6.
For extra crispiness, switch your oven to broiler mode (high setting) for 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning. The cheese should get lightly golden and bubbly.
Time: 2 min - 7.
Remove the naan pizzas from the oven. Garnish generously with fresh oregano and parsley, and a final drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Time: 2 min - 8.
Slice each naan pizza into wedges and serve immediately. Enjoy your quick and flavorful meal!
Time: 1 min
Tips
- 💡For an extra layer of flavor, lightly toast the naan in a dry pan for a minute on each side before adding toppings.
- 💡Experiment with different hummus flavors like roasted red pepper or sundried tomato for a unique twist.
- 💡If you like a bit of heat, a pinch of red pepper flakes sprinkled over the toppings before baking would be a great addition.
- 💡Feel free to add other Mediterranean vegetables like thinly sliced red onion or bell peppers if desired.
