Add a splash of color to your dessert table with this delightful Rainbow Jello recipe. Perfect for parties and gatherings, this layered jello treat is as fun to make as it is to eat!
Ingredients
- 6 boxes (3 ounces each) of different flavored gelatin (e.g., strawberry, orange, lemon, lime, blueberry, grape)
- 6 cups boiling water
- 6 cups cold water
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Prepare the Flavored Gelatin Layers: For each flavored gelatin, dissolve one box of gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water to the dissolved gelatin and mix well. Pour the first layer into a 9×13 inch glass dish and refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
- Prepare the White Gelatin Layer: In a small bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved. Add the sweetened condensed milk to the dissolved unflavored gelatin and mix well.
- Assemble the Layers: Once the first flavored layer is set, pour a thin layer of the white gelatin mixture over it. Refrigerate until set, about 20 minutes. Repeat the process, alternating between flavored gelatin and white gelatin layers, allowing each layer to set before adding the next. Continue until all gelatin is used, ending with a flavored layer.
- Chill: Once all layers are set, refrigerate the entire dish for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Serve: Cut into squares and serve chilled.
Enjoy your colorful and fun Rainbow Jello!
