Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped

For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • 2-3 strawberries, mashed

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients:
    In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine and Add Strawberries:
    Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
  5. Fill the Pan:
    Spoon or pipe the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
