At The Heart Of Our Table

I wanted something that I could give to my daughter Violet who also shares the name of my grandmother, the women who gave me the passion of cooking. Something kind of like a family heirloom. This book is a book of recipes handed down to me from previous women that hold a special place in my life. Some of those people I love dearly but I never got to meet but I got to hear there stories over a warm meal and a heart felt conversation. I want her to be able to fall in love the same way I did. I not only want her to have these recipes but I want her and other to understand the importance of family traditions and not just passing down a meal but a story, a memory and most importantly time spent with family.
