This cookbook brings together a collection of comforting Indonesian recipes inspired by the flavors I grew up with. Simple, approachable, and made for everyday cooking, each dish is a reflection of home.
About This Cookbook
I’ve always believed that food is more than just something we eat. It’s something we carry with us. Growing up in Indonesia, the kitchen was a quiet but constant presence in my life. It was where everyday meals were prepared, where small moments happened, and where I first learned that cooking didn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. Over the years, that familiarity grew into something deeper. What started as simple curiosity turned into a passion, and eventually into my work as a recipe developer and food content creator. Through this journey, I’ve come to appreciate the beauty of simple, reliable recipes the kind that don’t just look good, but feel like home. This cookbook is a collection of the dishes I return to again and again. Recipes that are comforting, approachable, and rooted in Indonesian home cooking. Some are widely loved classics, while others quietly reflect the blend of cultures that have shaped my kitchen over time. More than anything, I hope these recipes feel accessible—something you can cook in your own kitchen, wherever you are. Because at the end of the day, food is meant to be shared, and home is something we can create, one dish at a time.

And in the future, I hope to continue sharing more of Indonesian food and culture, bringing these flavors to more kitchens around the world.
